The ocean provides us with the oxygen we breathe and the climate that sustains us. We need a healthy ocean for our own survival. Take 3 believes in simple actions to address complex problems: Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or…anywhere, and you have made a difference.
Seed
Seed is Australia's first Indigenous Youth Climate Network. Building a movement led by and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people to protect our land, culture and communities from the causes and impacts of climate change. Since launching as an independent branch of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) in 2014, Seed has rapidly grown to become a powerful, national grassroots network of over 250 volunteers across the country. They provide platforms for young Indigenous people to take action and build their skills, confidence and networks to lead action on climate campaigns.
SeaTrees
SeaTrees enables brands to directly fund blue carbon projects and leverage the power of business to accelerate change. The ocean contains 90% of the carbon in the global carbon cycle. Its super power is to sequester more CO2 than any other ecosystem on Earth. Threats like climate change and ocean acidification are accelerating faster than ever before. Through a combination of indigenous wisdom, modern science and inspired business, SeaTrees aims to speed up the Earth's natural healing mechanisms to repair our planet in real-time.
Carbon Positive Australia
Carbon Positive Australia plants native trees and shrubs on degraded land in Australia. Our efforts restore the landscape, encourage biodiversity and sequester carbon. Planting trees offsets the carbon emissions we humans create in our everyday activities. Every carbon offset you purchase, every tree you give, every dollar you donate, helps us to plant more trees and shrubs and restore more of the Australian landscape.
1 Million Women
1 Million Woman give women and girls the tools, education and empowerment to cut carbon pollution in their everyday lives focusing on the key areas of daily living: home energy, food waste, spending, fashion, food choices, travel, overconsumption and much more. While inspiring women and girls to use their lifestyle actions to drive positive change, 1 Million Women empower them to use their voices and their votes to fight for climate action. Their vision is a world where millions of women and girls are living zero carbon lives and influencing those around them to do the same.
